N85 Gets First Firmware Update

It’s been a very long time since I’ve blogged. I’ve made up my mind (?) to keep this blog alive and will be posting regularly from now on. Here’s what I was up to all these days. I’ve moved to the US, dropped my N95-2 five times in a week and the final time something terrible happened - the camera broke. The bright side of this is that it gave me a reason to upgrade again and I ended up buying the N85!

I’ve been using the phone for more than a month and I am impressed overall. The camera disappointed me a bit but no complaints otherwise.

N85 Gets First Firmware Update

Today the N85 got it’s first firmware update bringing it to v11.0.47. The update weighs in at 131.8MB and it went on very smoothly. N85 has UDP and hence all data and settings are preserved after the updates (only the time and date settings were lost but it’s not a big issue). NSU is also updated to v1.4.70.

In other news the classic N95 also got an update to v31.
